CANNES YOUNG LIONS - DIGITAL - 2023

The Cannes Young Lions competition needs no introduction.

This year (2023) myself and Francisco Phillips (M&C Saatchi) were named as one of the 5 National Finalists in the digital category. A mean feat with this year having the most ever entrants in the category - a staggering 700+. An exciting opportunity that saw us the hybrid team of art director and social strategist tackle the gruelling 24hr brief in the second round. Below is both our Round 1 and Round 2 entries for the competition, and although we didn’t win, we were stoked with a national 3rd…. *eye roll

Brief One

Launch a TikTok-first campaign that creates a movement and transcends the platform by inspiring and helping new-to-country Australians celebrate the joy of belonging to this nation’s diverse, multicultural society.

Brief Two

Create an engaging TikTok-first digital campaign for Afghan Women on the Move that elevates awareness of their mission, inspires support, and ultimately boosts fundraising efforts.
